History:

1968-, London

BMP/Boase Massimi Pollitt was founded in 1968. John Webster was the creative director responsible for many famous campaigns such as Cadbury's Smash Martians (1974 and revived in 1992 and 1999) and John Smith's. From 1971 BMP also became well-known for political advertising, running campaigns for the TUC, the Labour Party and Labour councils. In 1989 BMP was merged into DDB Needham Worldwide to form BMP DDB Needham, part of the Omnicom Group. In 2005 the name was changed to DDB London.
