Geoffrey Russell

In January 2000, he was headhunted to the IPA, the trade body for UK ad agencies, accounting for 85% + of UK display advertising. Here, he was Director for Media Affairs and Secretary to the IPA’s Governing Council, its Media Futures Group, and its Broadcasting Production Policy Group, as well as being Company Secretary to JICRIT and a member of the Committee on Advertising Practice and Broadcast Committee on Advertising Practice. While he stepped away from most of the these positions when he retired at the end March 2014, he retains his JICRIT role.
Geoff became HAT Chairman in 2017 after Graham Hinton stepped down.
