Davidson Pearce
History
1896-, London
Samson Clark was established in London in 1896. There was a major expansion of the business in the 1920s. The agency was reformed as Davidson Pearce Berry & Tuck in the late 1960s.
Spottiswoode Advertising was established in 1903 and merged with Dixon & Hunting in 1906. Spottiswoode amalgamated with DPB&T to form DPBT&S, the immediate predecessor to Davidson Pearce (1980). Davidson Pearce was taken over by Boase Massimi Pollitt (BMP) in 1988 which later became part of DDB London.
