History
1970-, London
Saatchi & Saatchi was established by brothers Charles (previously with Cramer Saatchi) and Maurice in 1970. In 1975 they became one of the largest UK agencies by taking over Garland-Compton. In 1993 the brothers left the company to start M&C Saatchi. In 2000 Saatchi & Saatchi merged with Publicis.

Scope/Formats
The Saatchi & Saatchi 35mm colour transparency library is significant, covering many campaigns from 1971-c.1992, including those representing the Conservative party. Newsletters, yearbooks and Worldwide Print Ideas contain samples of advertisements and there are press cuttings 1988-c.2000 and published annual reports and accounts 1977-2002.
