Regent Advertising Club
History
The Regent Club was founded in May 1923 by students from Regent Street Polytechnic. For some time Cyril Freer had been giving a series of lectures on advertising there and as a result he was elected Chairman. The Club was designed primarily to help the younger generation of both men and women in advertising. It seems to have merged with the Publicity Club and finally closed in 1970.
