HAT Trustees honoured as global champions at IAA


We are very proud to announce that Archie Pitcher CBE and David Hanger, both HAT Trustees and Patrons, were among the 56 individuals from 25 countries that were named International Advertising Association 75th Anniversary Champions at a glittering Gala Dinner at The InterContinental Hotel, Park Lane, London on 3rd October. This was in recognition for their leadership and vision, commitment to excellence in communications and for their contribution to worldwide advancement of the International Advertising Association.

Faris Abouhamad, IAA Chairman and World President stated: 


"Since its founding in 1938 the IAA has championed many industry issues, values and advancement of knowledge around the world. So our 75th Anniversary celebration was the perfect moment to recognize those individuals and companies who have made a lasting contribution to the industry and above all - the International Advertising Association".

The IAA, with its 56 chapters in 76 countries, is a one-of-a-kind global partnership whose members comprise advertisers, media, advertising and public relations agencies, media companies, and academics. The IAA is a platform for industry issues and is dedicated to protecting and advancing freedom of commercial speech, responsible advertising, consumer choice, and the education of marketing professionals. 


The IAA UK Chapter is one of the largest and most successful chapters of this global business association. The UK Chapter produces an annual schedule of business lunches featuring prominent advertising practitioners, thought leadership events, professional development seminars, and prominent social and charity events for the advertising industry.
