Admin History: The Hulton Press was founded in 1937 by Sir Edward George Warris Hulton and was an English magazine publisher. Popular titles included 'Farmer's Weekly', the 'Eagle' and 'Picture Post'. The latter publication was promoted by JWT via a series of weekly 15-minute programmes on Radio Luxembourg, becoming the first publication to be advertised on this channel.
The Hulton account was transferred from Colman, Prentis & Varley to JWT London from 1 July 1953.
